A Quick Look at Your Tuning Fork Set

How to Use Your Tuning Forks

A simple ritual, no experience needed.

Your Set: Two Types in One

Your 128Hz and 256Hz forks are weighted — you'll see a small disc on each prong. Press the base directly on the area you're focusing on, like a tense shoulder or your chest, for a stronger, more physical vibration.

Your 512Hz fork is unweighted — plain prongs, a brighter and more defined tone. Hold it a few inches from your body or ears (always at a safe distance) rather than pressing it directly on.

Neither is "better" — your set gives you both feels in one place: grounding and physical with 128Hz/256Hz, brighter and sound-forward with 512Hz.

Getting started

  • Hold the fork by the stem, never the prongs — this is what lets it vibrate freely.
  • Strike gently using the included rubber mallet, or tap it against your palm or the meaty part of your thigh.
  • A gentle tap is enough — there's no need to strike hard for a clear tone.

Two ways to use it

  • Direct placement — rest the base of the vibrating fork on the area you want to focus on, like a tense shoulder or your chest. Common for a grounding, physical-feeling session.
  • Aerial use — hold the vibrating fork a few inches from your body and move it slowly. Some people use this motion as part of a broader relaxation routine.

You can combine both in one session — there's no fixed way to do it.

A few safety notes

What's Included

Everything you need to begin, in one set — nothing extra to figure out or buy separately.

  • 3 tuning forks — 128Hz, 256Hz, 512Hz
  • 1 rubber mallet, for a clean, consistent strike
  • 1 repair tool
  • 1 cleaning cloth
  • 1 velvet storage bag, to keep your forks protected between sessions

Every fork is individually checked for frequency accuracy before it leaves us — so what you hold is what's printed on it.

Understanding Your Frequencies

Each fork produces a different tone — measured in Hz, or vibrations per second. Lower numbers create a deeper tone, higher numbers a brighter one. Here's how people commonly use each one:

  • 128Hz — a low, grounding tone. Often used to settle the body and start a session.
  • 256Hz — a mid tone many people use as a simple daily focus point.
  • 512Hz — a higher, brighter tone some prefer for a clearer, more alert moment.

These are common ways people use each frequency, not guaranteed effects — everyone experiences sound and vibration a little differently. Start with 128Hz if you're not sure where to begin, and explore the others as you go.

Not a substitute for medical treatment. If you have any health conditions, please check with your doctor before use.

Do tuning forks actually work?

Tuning forks aren't a medical treatment, and we won't pretend otherwise.

What they are is a real, physical tool: strike one, and it vibrates at a precise, measurable frequency — that part is simple physics, not a claim.

What people use that vibration and tone for varies — as a focus point during meditation, a moment of stillness before bed, or simply a calming ritual to mark a pause in the day.

We don't promise a specific outcome, because everyone's experience is different.

What we do promise is that the fork you receive produces exactly the frequency printed on it, checked before it ships.

How do I know the frequency is accurate?

Every fork in your set is individually checked before it leaves us — this isn't something we assume from the manufacturer, it's verified on our end.

If a fork is stamped 128Hz, that's the frequency it's been checked to produce.

What do the tuning fork frequencies mean?

The number on each fork — 128Hz, 256Hz, or 512Hz — is its frequency, measured in cycles per second (Hz). Lower numbers produce a deeper, lower tone; higher numbers produce a brighter, higher one. That's the simple physics behind it.

Your set includes 128Hz and 256Hz (weighted, placed directly on the body) and 512Hz (unweighted, held near the ear). People commonly use the lower tones for a grounding, physical feel, and the higher tone for a brighter, clearer moment — but there's no single "correct" way to use them. Start with whichever feels most natural, and explore the others as you go.

Which fork should I start with?

Your set includes three: 128Hz and 256Hz (weighted, placed directly on the body) and 512Hz (unweighted, held near the ear).

There's no wrong place to start — many people begin with 128Hz simply because its lower tone is easy to settle into, then explore the other two as they get familiar with the ritual.

How often should I use them?

There's no fixed schedule. Some people use theirs daily as part of an evening routine, others reach for them occasionally when they want a quiet moment.

Start with short, simple sessions and adjust based on what feels right for you.

Why is this worth the price?

You're not just paying for three pieces of metal.

Every fork is individually checked for frequency accuracy before it ships, made from aluminium alloy rather than cheaper cast steel that goes out of tune, and comes complete with everything you need to start — mallet, cleaning cloth, repair tool, and storage bag included.

Add a real NZ team you can actually call if you have questions, and it's less about the price of a tuning fork, and more about not having to guess whether the one you bought actually works.
