I first came across earthing in 2017. The idea was simple: reconnect the body to the earth’s natural electrical charge. No hacks. No quick fixes. Just returning to how humans lived for thousands of years. It made immediate sense to me.
We started sharing grounding with more people and, over time, messages started pouring in from other Kiwis trying to get better sleep. That’s how Grounded Kiwi began.
Why We Rebranded
Life has become loud. We’re constantly switched on, surrounded by screens, stress, notifications, and pressure to keep going. At Grounded Kiwi, we’re passionate about changing that. We want to share the practice of earthing with more people, which is why we decided to refine our brand.
This rebrand brings us back to the heart of what we do.
It’s about slowing down.
Stripping away the noise.
And choosing a more natural way to live.
Our new look and website reflect who we’ve always been: caring, honest, and down-to-earth. We’re still rooted in science, proudly grounded in Aotearoa, and here to support real people with daily practices that actually work.
Grounded Kiwi exists to reconnect people to what’s real. To remind us that our bodies are intelligent. That nature still knows what we need. That rest isn’t a luxury, it’s essential.
