Research has proven that the more time you spend connected to Earth, the better. We often spend a substantial amount of time in front of a computer, laptop and screen, making our universal desk mats a great idea to provide that connection back to Earth.

Earthing universal mat can be used on the floor as a foot mat. We also stock silver fibre earthing socks, which go great when using this on the floor or otherwise barefoot is recommended. 

Earthing while working in front of electronics is a great way to protect your body from EMF and stray voltage. Did you know that the safe distance from a Wifi router is 8 meters? Within 8m, your body may get bombarded by a strong Wifi signal.

This Universal Mat is multi-purpose and can be used nearly anywhere in the home or Office space. Use it as a mouse pad when working on the computer, a seat pad on the couch or a foot mat on the floor.

To connect to back to Earth, each universal desk mat includes your choice of either an Earthing plug or Earthing rod. 

Earthing plug option uses your regular 3pin house power socket to connect to Earth via your homes/building Earth rod. 

We recommend adding a Socket tester to your order to ensure that your power socket is correctly connected to the Earth. 

Ideal for workspaces as it will provide grounding as long as you have skin in direct contact.

Care instructions: 

Cleaning is easy; wipe down the universal earthing mat occasionally with a non-corrosive cleaner and allow air to dry. 

Some bare skin should touch the smooth upper surface of the mat for you to be grounded, although it will work to a lesser degree through the thin fabric. Alternatively, it can be used together with our highly conductive silver fibre Earthing socks.
